There are many foreigners out there doing lots of different things. I have met aid workers, Oil and Gas people, lawyers, English teachers, bankers, Hotel managers, diplomats and ... more English teachers. Still, the possibilities are endless.

I do not think there has ever been easier to be an ex-pat. There are sites which have been established in most major cities to help people through the pitfalls get in, and globalization has meant that there are jobs for foreigners around the world.
